of Echo - Dont use the Basic Ceiling. When an architect uses the Basic Ceiling-Generic type they are creating a situation for the Revit MEP user they may not be aware of. Moving Ceiling Grid Pattern. He wrote: "When you tab through to the ceiling grid while in the move command, look near the top (meaning Options Bar) at the "disjoin" check box. Interestingly, in Ceiling Plan views only, when we take advantage of this we lose the ability to show just two lines with Detail Level: Coarse. Could it be that the wall is not being cut in the ceiling plan view and the multiple lines are actually projection lines? Ive also been a part of the consulting team for CDV Systems since 2005.

System families have a Function setting. Thats true for Walls, Floor, Roofs and Ceilings. Revit Consultant - Revit Training, Revit Implementation and Navisworks I started using Revit at work in 2002. It allows a Civil 3D user to define the shared coordinate system to be passed on to a Revit project.
