TCC’s judgment in Martlet v Mulalley, a cladding fire safety dispute

The defendant (Mulalley) was a design and build contractor who was engaged in 2005 to install external wall insulation on the Towers in the form of rendered cladding. It also discovered that the mineral wool fire barriers the system required at each floor level in order to mitigate the risk of fire spread had been defectively installed.
