of Echo - Dont use the Basic Ceiling. When an architect uses the Basic Ceiling-Generic type they are creating a situation for the Revit MEP user they may not be aware of. The concept of View Discipline appeared with Revit Structure. It was meant to make it simple to alter the appearance of our model to be more in sync with what a structural engineer wants to see. 3)The changes that Discipline applies should be indicated in Visibility Graphics (halftoning to model category, etc.)
