This information has been sitting in my inbox for a week now. Autodesk Vasari Beta 1 is a slimmed down version of Revit 2013 focusing on conceptual modeling and early analysis. These divisions, while relevant to the architectural model, are ruining the possibilities of creating gbXML files without extensive work on the part of the engineer to remove the room separation lines, and then repair the damage done to the room names and numbers. Joe - in the examples he offered it isn't "poor" modeling.

I used a pair of model lines (assigned to Invisible) to govern the location of the arc and line endpoints. In the thread at AUGI the member that started it all replied that he figured out how to solve it after reading a post at BIM & BEAM. What you describe as working doesn't work on the model lines in my example.
