This is where Building Information Modeling (BIM) comes into play, and BIM managers are the ones tasked with connecting teams and improving coordination between them. We do government buildings, warehouses, schools, and parking garages. As for my specialty, I’m a BIM manager.

System families have a Function setting. Thats true for Walls, Floor, Roofs and Ceilings. Finish 1 [4] = Finish Exterior [4]. Finish 2 [5] = Finish Interior [5]. Just a question, I also practice n°4 finish for exterior and n°5 for interior, but for the pure operation of Revit, is there a reason?

Wall Floor Interaction and Linked Models. When we have architecture and structure in separate Revit models we end up with somewhat clumsy graphics in wall sections. This is more pronounced if the structural slab is in the structure model only. The wall continues past the floor as if it isnt there. Site Information.
