Delete Sheets In Browser or Schedules. Rooms and areas can be deleted in model views like floor plans and ceiling plans. Revit warns us that they have been deleted from the model but they are still listed in schedules. To really delete them we have to open a schedule view and delete them there. System families have a Function setting. Thats true for Walls, Floor, Roofs and Ceilings. If changed I suspect people would have less trouble deciding which function is appropriate. It cannot be that difficult of change to make for Autodesk either. What you are suggesting is a much bigger change. ► 2009.

The problems are with autodesk's management of the software and of the paying client base, who are always secondary to the shareholders. How many revit 2013 changes (I can't call them all improvements) address AUGI wishlist items? I think we're just at the beginning of massive change in the industry. The soluton?

Further, views can be tied to view templates and have changes to a view template take effect immediately in a view or many views. We can apply a view template like before, just to make a change or we can assign a view template to the view so that it will alter the view without the past extra step of applying the view template.

A few changes have been made this year as to how the updates are accessed. Improves stability when splitting pipes which belong to different systems. Improves consistency of unit formatting within Panel Schedules. Improves consistency of adding circuits to equipment that are connected to a pipe or duct system. Parameters.

Related to this is the notion that there are representations that wed like to control for floor plan orientation and offer a different appear for the reflected ceiling plan (RCP) version. These adjustments change the 3D model, not just the 2D plan-view. Note the two “wall closure” parameters (shown below) need to be “locked” so they stay positive (in the correct direction) when the host wall thickness changes. Comments: Comments are moderated to manage spamming. ► 2009.
