Thursday, July 19, 2012. These adjustments change the 3D model, not just the 2D plan-view. Note the two “wall closure” parameters (shown below) need to be “locked” so they stay positive (in the correct direction) when the host wall thickness changes. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Working with a client the last couple evenings I found a quirky condition with a column family that has a nested detail component to manage masking the way they like. Then I tried changing the column to use the Column Style settings: Slanted - Angle Driven and Slanted - End Point Driven.

When MEP (Systems as it was called then) appeared a year later they extended the concept to Mechanical and Electrical (plumbing lumped in with Mechanical till release 2013). Wednesday, May 16, 2012. I dont recall when this first showed up but I noticed it first in Revit 2012. With Revit 2013 my view templates will adjust all those details as soon as I change the template, or at least they can if I set it up that way. Thursday, April 19, 2012. System families have a Function setting. Thats true for Walls, Floor, Roofs and Ceilings. If changed I suspect people would have less trouble deciding which function is appropriate. It cannot be that difficult of change to make for Autodesk either. ▼ 2012. ► July 2012.
