Accessibility upgrades complete at Tuggerah Station

The upgrade includes a new boarding assistance zone, new lifts, a new footbridge and concourse, and improved accessible public toilets. Two new lifts at Tuggerah were opened in October 2024 as the two-year project progressed. A small amount of finishing work will continue through mid-2025.

Bridge beam boost for Inland Rail

McConnell Dowell lifted the last of six concrete beams into position, with each beam weighing around 85 tonnes and lifted into place by a 650-tonne crawler crane. The installation of bridge beams has enabled remaining works to continue on the 35-metre-long bridge, with construction set to be completed in early 2025.
