Final designs released for Melton Station, LXRPs

The new Melton station will be built with four platforms, with access from both sides of the rail line and each platform accessible from lifts and stairs. Member for Melton Steve McGhie said the release of the final designs means construction is a step closer to commencing later this year.

Sydney Metro’s Sydenham Station nearing completion

The station will be fully upgraded with lifts and level access between the platforms and trains Sydenham Station platforms one and two will be upgraded to Sydney Metro standards, including the installation of platform screen doors. It is expected that by 2026, more than 11,900 commuters will travel through Sydenham Station each day.
