As the facility approaches its 50 th anniversary in 2026, UNI Athletics launched a $50 million, three-phase campaign in 2022 to completely renovate and renew the beloved building. Western’s craftsmen used a specialized lift called a Bridgewalker Type 1 to descend off the building’s roof to access its concrete ring beam.

Final designs released for Melton Station, LXRPs

The new Melton station will be built with four platforms, with access from both sides of the rail line and each platform accessible from lifts and stairs. New road bridges with dedicated share use paths will also be delivered along Ferris Road and Hopkins Road.

Sydney Metro’s Sydenham Station nearing completion

Early SRL works underway at Monash
