The project will also deliver a new pedestrian overpass, along with lifts and stairs installed at bot platforms. Access will also be improved to the existing northern station entrance with a new ramp, stairs, and automatic sliding door. Trains now run every 20 minutes on average during peak times. The new plans include installing a pedestrian overpass with a passenger lift and stairs to both platforms (see image below). The project will also include an upgrade of the northern entry to the station to build a new ramp and stairs, along with improvements to lighting and tactiles. Courtesy of Engage Victoria.
